Urban drainage assets are typically thought of as serving only one purpose; flood mitigation. Beyond this function however, drainage infrastructure can and needs to be part of a larger paradigm shift in the way we design our cities for increased liveability. In this webinar, Suzanne Brown shares how the WA Water Corporation and the Department of Water and Environmental Regulation are working together with local councils and communities to unlock the potential of mostly unseen and unloved drainage infrastructure. We also talk about the challenges and opportunities in realising the full potential of these assets as part of improving urban spaces.
